Quark VR Now with a Working Prototype of the Wireless HTC Vive

March 23, 2017

As you may already know, we have been developing a way to cut the cords off the HTC Vive for the past several months. We’ve been aching to share our progress with you for quite some time! And while we may have a bit of polishing to do, we are beyond excited to share a teaser of our results so far!

The video features our CEO and co-founder Krasi Nikolov, who is taking the wireless HTC Vive prototype for a spin with a couple of popular VR titles.

The prototype uses our very own proprietary software, which enables low latency streaming to a number of headsets.

As seen in the teaser, the HTC Vive headset is connected to a small single board computer and a portable battery back. For convenience’ sake we’re temporarily using a waist pack to store the computer and battery. So far, the battery allows for up to 2 hours of gameplay.

Tell us what you think!
